I have used Vet Bed for many years, since it first came out in fact. I line the whelping box with a thick layer of newspaper then place the Vet Bed on top. The layers ensure the box isn't too hot from the heater and the pups stay dry and snug as a bug. The urine is pulled through the bed to the paper underneath keeping the pups dry at all times. It's great to wash, I just throw it in the washing machine and hang it out. It dries in no time. There are copies on the market that do not do the same thing and are not worth your money. I wouldn't have a litter without Vet Bed.
